Bridal underwear – how to choose yours

You will no doubt have spent hours, if not days, looking for the most amazing dress for your big day. And rightly so – you want to look your absolute best. It is with that sentiment in mind, that you should also spend some time thinking about what to wear under your fabulous dress. Without the right underwear, you won’t look or feel your best.

There’s nothing worse than uncomfortable underwear – especially on your wedding day. Afterall, you want you and your partner to remember your special day for all the right reasons…

If you have chosen your dress but are aiming to lose, or gain, some weight before the big day, don’t buy any bridal lingerie until you reach your target size and shape. That said - you don’t want to leave buying your underwear until the last minute either! You should try on lots of bras and find the one which fits best.

If you are going for a traditional wedding gown in ivory or white, underwear in skin tones is the best option. It will provide invisible support, providing a flawless look. We have received a review of the Elise Briefs by Ulla by Jenny saying that she has found these briefs to come in generous sizes and to be very comfortable.

What a fabulously comfortable pair of briefs - and in really generous sizes too. Pity they are quite so expensive but if you are looking for pretty briefs for big gals, these are the ones. I am a dress size 36 but the largest size in these briefs (34), fitted me really well. I would love them to be in even more colours and yes, a bit cheaper. Jenny
