"At what age do girls these days start wearing a bra?"I don't think there is a specific age for any girl as everyone's body develops at a different rate.
Breasts can start growing from about 7 or 8 years old and as late as 13 years old. Generally girls from about 10 years may start to wear a bra when they start to grow around the nipple area and feel that they need some support especially when exercising and also so that they don't feel so exposed but girls can wear bras from an earlier age or older, it just depends on their development.

It is important to get measured for a bra to ensure that the correct size is bought as this will ensure that the wearer is comfortable and confident, shoulders straps should not dig into shoulders and there should not be bulges at the bottom or to the sides of the bra. Our measuring guide explains how to be measured at home and also gives some helpful hints and tips to achieve the correct fitting.
