Some of you will be jetting off this festive season for some Winter sun or maybe your are planning/booking your Summer holidays, which ever is the case here are some swimwear fitting tips to help you find the right fitting swimwear.
Tips for the tummy/waist area:
- A print design on your swimwear will help to conceal a tummy. An allover print will mask the tummy but you can also go for a placement print which is a large feature print strategically placed from one side across the tummy area but not all the way over which creates the illusion of a waist.
- Ruching across the tummy area will also help to conceal a tummy and is a flattering feature.
- Diagonals will help to break up the fullness of your middle area. Look for styles that create a diagonal from your shoulder down and across your bust to your 'waist'.
- Tankinis will give good coverage over your tummy whilst giving you the flexibility and look of a two piece.
- Choose underwired swimwear as this will help to lift your breasts up and draw attention to your cleavage and away from your tummy area.
- Choose a style that pulls you in under the bust area such as an empire line style.
- Look for swimwear that has 'Powernetting', a reinforced inner layer, as this may help to hold you in a little more.
- Swimwear with a higher cut leg will help to lengthen your legs.
Smaller busts
- If you have a smaller bust then look for swimwear that have great detail and features on the top half like a buckle and frills to visually add volume.
- If you wear smaller cup sizes and would like to enhance your cleavage then choose swimwear with padded tops or removable breast pads for added cleavage.
- Bandeau styles will help to widen shoulders and draw attention away from your bust.
- If you have a larger bust then go for a halter tie style with added support.
- Underwired swimwear will help to give some support to your breasts.
- Swimwear with a wider band under will also help to give support.

- Print designs will also help to draw attention away from the bust area.
