How Do You Dry Your Bras?

How do you dry your bras?

Most of us will hang them on the washing line or over the radiator, some will dry them flat but is this the best way to dry your bra?

I have been reading recently about a couple of bra drying products.

Bra Smart is a product that allows your bras to air dry and retain their shape in the process and it works by providing ventilated moulded cups that attach to a flat base which you put your bra onto as it drys. It is available in sizesA/B, C and D.

Bra Dryer is a simple device shaped like a female torso with a very gentle infrared (IR) heat source which helps evaporate moisture from the bra fabric while silent fans inside the appliance help remove this moisture.

Japanese Research Uses Maths In Pursuit Of Better Fitting Lingerie

Japanese researchers have been using maths to help to build a 3D trunk of the female form which could be used to help design, " more sensuous, comfortable, and better fitting product ranges." (Source Physorg)

The researchers believe that identifying body shape is key to creating close fitting products. They have built up a database of body shapes for Japanese women and have used the statistical data to classify trunk characteristics into 5 classes of body shape that can then help designers to create, "clothes that fit better for size and shape, and in improving practical functional clothes used for body adjustment and posture improvement."

Helpful Husbands

I had several fittings yesterday, and one of the ladies needed to come to buy replacement bras as well as to check her sizing. The reason for the replacements was that her newly retired husband decided to be helpful around the house and undertake a spot of ironing, and ironed all her bras - whilst the iron did not ruin her bras totally it did a substantial amount of damage. Whilst it is good business for me I do not recommend the ironing of bras by husbands or anybody else for that matter!
